Psychotherapy
I provide psychodynamic psychotherapy which is an approach aimed at achieving a deeper understanding of psychological difficulties. It is usually conducted over several months or years on a once- or twice-weekly basis.
Before undertaking this type of commitment, it is common to arrange two or more consultation sessions to consider whether psychodynamic psychotherapy would be suitable. If therapy proceeds, it is at the same day(s) & time(s) each week.
To find out more about psychodynamic psychotherapy, what to expect from sessions and the evidence base, please visit the British Psychoanalytic Council web page (link below).
Supervision
I am qualified to supervise professionals who are interested in exploring a psychodynamic understanding of their work. I offer individual and group supervision.
Clinical Premises
I work in the Practice Rooms, 5 Broomfield Road, Sheffield S10 2SE. There is limited free parking on site.
Equality & Diversity
I am committed to building a fairer society in which people are valued equally regardless of their ethnic group, gender identity, sexuality, class, religion, disability or any other individual difference. I am involved in public sector projects to increase access and representation for marginalised groups.
Fees
I charge £50 for therapy sessions (50m) - lower fees can be negotiated if attending twice weekly. Initial consultations are £75 (1h15m). Supervision for professionals is £75 for individuals and £125 for groups (1h).
